Terms of Use

The terms your account and any purchase on Airsoft Locker are made under.

Last reviewed: September 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to every account on Airsoft Locker and to every purchase made through it. Creating an account, or completing a purchase, means you accept them. See the Imprint for who operates the service, and the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • The information you provide (email, username, profile details) must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared.
  • We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, including the content rules in section 4.

4. Airsoft only, and what is not allowed

This platform exists for airsoft — the sport played with replica devices firing 6 mm (or 8 mm) plastic BBs. It is not for real firearms, and content depicting or promoting real firearms, deactivated weapons, or anything requiring a firearms licence is not allowed here, regardless of how it is captioned. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own country regarding the purchase, possession, marking (e.g. orange tip requirements) and transport of airsoft replicas — those laws vary widely and this service does not advise on them.

Also not allowed, anywhere on the platform:

  • content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else’s rights (including their image or intellectual property),
  • gear listings or loadout content unrelated to airsoft equipment,
  • attempts to circumvent the moderation queue, rate limits, or the review process for submitted gear.

We may remove content or reject a submission that breaks these rules, and a rejection of submitted gear always comes with a written reason.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — locker photos, your avatar and header, submitted gear images, loadout descriptions. By uploading it, you grant us a licence to store it and, for anything you set to public, to display it on the site and in the previews (Open Graph images) generated for links to it. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload — in particular, that a photo of a person is either of you or was uploaded with that person's permission, which the AI Operative Render flow asks you to confirm explicitly before it runs.

6. Paid digital content

The AI Operative Render turns an uploaded photo into a stylised, illustrated depiction of your loadout's wearer, generated by an AI image model. The Profile Kit does the same for a profile header and avatar. Each purchase grants 3 render attempts. An attempt only counts against that total once it finishes successfully — a failed or blocked attempt (a technical error, or an upload the safety check declines) does not consume one and may be retried at no extra cost. The price is shown at checkout before you pay.

Stylised render disclaimer. Every render is an AI-generated illustration, not a photograph. It approximates your gear, colours and pose; it will not always be an exact match, may include artistic license or minor artefacts, and is not a substitute for professional photography. You are choosing a stylised interpretation, not a guaranteed likeness.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Under German law, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once we begin performance — here, once your first render attempt starts — provided you have expressly consented to that start and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal by doing so (§ 356 (5) BGB). The AI Operative Render flow asks for exactly that confirmation before the first attempt runs; without it, we do not start.

Once an attempt has succeeded — the digital content has been delivered — there is no refund for that purchase, except where the law requires one: a materially defective delivery (§ 327i BGB) or any other statutory right you hold as a consumer, which this section does not limit.

8. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access — planned maintenance, and things outside our control, happen. Our liability is limited to what the law allows for a service provided at this price, except for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or arising from injury to life, body or health, where liability is unlimited by law.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this is immediate and permanent for your profile, locker and loadout rows; the associated images are removed promptly, at the latest within 30 days; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is kept and for how long afterward. We may terminate or suspend an account for a serious or repeated violation of section 4.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that state's law continue to apply alongside this.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "last reviewed" date above changes with them. Changes that affect an active purchase (an unfinished set of render attempts) will not be applied retroactively to it.
