Hydration Carrier
Also called: bladder carrier, camelback pouch
A hydration carrier holds a water bladder and its drinking tube, mounted on the back of a plate carrier or as a standalone pack, keeping water accessible without stopping to dig through a bag.
Sized to fit a 1–3 litre bladder, the carrier routes the drinking tube up over a shoulder to a bite valve within easy mouth reach, which matters on a long game day in hot weather when dehydration is a real risk and a bottle in a backpack is too slow to reach mid-game.
Mounting it on the back of a plate carrier via MOLLE keeps kit consolidated on one platform, though it does add bulk and heat against the back; players on hot, high-movement games sometimes prefer a separate slim pack instead to keep the plate carrier itself lighter and cooler.
Running the tube along a shoulder strap rather than loosely across the chest keeps it out of the way of a weapon sling and stops it from snagging on brush or doorways during CQB movement.
