Battle Belt
A battle belt carries a player's most reach-critical gear — sidearm, primary reload, medical kit — at the hip, independent of whatever's worn on the torso.
Built on a rigid inner belt for structure with an outer MOLLE belt attached over it, the setup stays put under load and rotated draws instead of shifting the way a soft belt would, which matters for consistent muscle-memory access to a holster or medical pouch.
The core idea behind the layout is redundancy: if a plate carrier or chest rig has to come off — for a medic check, an equipment failure, overheating — the belt keeps a sidearm, spare magazine and first-aid kit on the body regardless, which is why many loadouts treat belt contents as the non-negotiable minimum kit.
A common setup mistake is mounting the holster too far back for a natural draw angle; testing the draw motion slowly and repeatedly during setup, before a game, catches this far more reliably than adjusting on the fly mid-match.
