Medic Rule
A medic rule lets a hit player be revived on the spot by a teammate acting as medic, rather than respawning or sitting out, adding a support role to the game.
Typical implementations require a wounded player to stay down and often call for help, and a medic to spend a set amount of time — sometimes performing a specific action like tying a tourniquet prop or holding position — before the player can rejoin the fight at reduced capacity or full health.
The rule adds real tactical weight to keeping teammates alive and adds an incentive to carry someone dedicated to the medic role, which many MilSim and objective-based scenarios lean on heavily as part of the mission design rather than treating hits as simple binary outs.
Carrying a dedicated medic prop — a bandage roll, a specific coloured item — is common practice so both the wounded player and the medic have a clear, unambiguous physical signal that the revival process has actually started.
